my 6 year old daughter needs jeans/pants...

my daughter seems to go through way too many pairs because she crawls around on the floor a lot with her little sister and all of her pants have holes in the knees. i've tried target, old navy and gap jeans/pants and none of them have lasted long. is there anyone else dealing with this type of thing, and if so, can you recommend a brand that seems to hold up better? nothing too expensive, please. TIA!!!

I remember Old Navy being the worst when I worked at a bookstore (crawling a lot to stock shelves), so I'd avoid ON as much as poss.

Take advantage of great sales at department stores (like Dillard's, Macy's, JCPenney, etc.) as one of several resources for jeans and pants.  I suspect that some of their brands will last longer.

Carhartt and Dickies make kids' clothing.  Those have got to last.

Levi's are usually longer/harder wearing too (Kohls still carries Levi's?)

My five year old has a pair of jeans from The Children's Place that is holding up way better than her pair from Old Navy. She plays hard too. I'd like to try Gymboree's jeans on her. Their corduroy's have been pretty good so far. I wouldn't get their knit pants though. My daughter got a hole in the knee within a month. Gymboree is kind of pricey to me, but they always have really good sales.
