Is the weather really crazy where anyone else lives? I'm in KY and it's supposed to get up to 71 today. The record high for today is 69*, in 1907! We have all the doors/windows open at work and even had the air conditioning on in the offices for a while (we have a lot of machines in the building that heat it up dramatically higher than what it is outside)
It's just....very, very odd. I wore a cami, a tshirt, and a hoodie today and I'm too warm! This is the middle of January! I should be trudging through the snow and slipping on ice!

Yep it's been in the 70s here in Arkansas too. I am wearing trousers and a short sleeve shirt with no jacket. It's crazy considering last week I thought my hands were going to fall off walking to my car because it was so cold!

Kind of a side rant along these lines... yesterday when we went to brunch/shopping I couldn't believe what people were wearing!!! I mean I know it's high 60's, low 70's but there still is a nip to the air and plus it is still January so don't break out your cut offs and flip flops and tropical themed capris (ok, never break these out!). Short sleeves is fine but don't dress like it's the middle of July *end rant*
Weird...I live in southern california and its been raining since friday and its REALLY cold that there's actually snow on the hills surrounding us. I am so unprepared, I've been calling GAP stores all morning searching for lined sherpa hoodies for DD w/no luck :(
I woke up this morning to some snow even though it wasn't too cold outside. After a few classes the snow was replaced by a clear sunny sky! I think it's in the 40's which is pretty warm in my area for this time of year.
This is funny because there was that whole spiel about how La Nina is coming this year, which is a huge cooling effect from the ocean and its the opposite of El Nino so we're supposed to be a lot colder than usual in NA. I cry BS- we've had a really warm winter, and I'm on an island IN the ocean! :)
Um yeah - it's 64 degrees today in Chicago. I believe it was 61 yesterday. I hate it - when the weather gets crazy like this, it freaks me out. I'm boiling today - my office is hot and humid, and it's humid outside. I refuse to not wear a coat or dress like it's spring out though!

I am in Chicago and hating this weather too. We had about 4 inches of snow melt in 1 day so everything is grey and soggy and muddy and I hate it! Not to mention that now there are tornado warings in and around my county all day today. The thing that is really weird is that my birthday is next week and 2 or so years ago on my birthday we went out to dinner and the restaurant SHUT DOWN because it was so cold outside. Quite a drastic change. Go away spring!! I want some more winter at LEAST until the end of February!

Oh, one more rant, I really want some snow!!!
I hate when people don't dress seasonally appropriate, too. I remember one summer in college (humid as hell Nebraska), the temp dropped down to 70, but it was still humid and muggy. I saw some girl wearing one of those woolly, itchy fisherman sweaters. I wanted to pass out just looking at her. A light jacket was almost too much.
I'm in Chicago, too, and while I don't mind a break from the frigid temps we've been having, I hate how filthy it is outside. Bleh!
Oh man, I feel you. I live in Texas and while it's never terribly, terribly cold here, the high today was 78 with about 90% humidity. It's quite disgusting and while I'm used to disgusting weather in the summer, I'm not used to it like this in January. Weird.
Yeah, it was in the high 60s today and yesterday (NC)- -probably not as scandalous of a temperature as if I were in Minnesota, say... but still not January weather.
I'm in WI, and it was like 60 or 65 degrees today, and I have to say, I LOVED it! I absoultely hate winter, snow, cold weather, etc.; so it was a real treat. Unfortunately, it's not supposed to last long.

DITTO! It was very muggy today and yesterday. It's supposed to be like this all week and then we should start feeling some "cold" by this weekend.
Um, I'm with BargainQueen. It's colder here in Southern California than it is where most of you are.
My office is drafty and I sit by the window (I share with 3 other girls and the office is less than 250 sq. ft.) so I'm seriously considering wearing my fluffly Uggs to work tomorrow. I guess I don't mind too much since I get to wear winter clothes without looking like a weirdo. =)

Yes, here in Texas (Austin), it was frekin' in the 30s-50s last week, and this past weekend, it was in the 70s. I tell ya, I give up on this weather. I'm still very ready to wear my boots FULL TIME, not part time! LOL
