Anniversary dinner?!
Permalink Closed

Today is me and the boyfriends' 2 yr anniversary.smile  We are going out to dinner tomorrow night so tonight I wanted to make something special for dinner. I want to make something that is simple yet elegant enough for a special occasion. Do you have any suggestions, I don't want to cook all night either!! TIA!!

What sort of food does he normally like? Or is there something you cook that he really likes? When I cook special dinners for my boyfriend I make sure its going to be something I know he likes.

He really likes traditional meat and potatos kind of meals but he also likes pastas. He is not too picky!

Well I can give you some examples of things I've cooked for BF in the past...

Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon (came pre-wrapped), mushrooms and onion in wine sauce, twice baked potatoes (make a regualr baked potatoe, then scoop the insides out and mix with cheese and butter, then put back in the potatoe, add cheese on top and bake for a minute or two), carrots and zucchini

Fettucini alfredo with grilled chicken on top (or with pesto sauce if alfredo is too heavy), some sort of salad, french bread

The meal doesnt have to be fancy, he'll just appreciate the thought. Some candles, and music would be good too. wink
