OK - who's going to coordinate the secret santa gig?  I know there's a few of you who said they would.  I don't know if there's a need for more than one person to oversee it?

I know the responsibilities are:
- managing santa's ST mailbox
- compiling particpant information (an excel spreadsheet would probably be best, that way you can track who has who and who has sent a shipping confirmation)
- assigning names and sending those out to everyone
- managing wish list posts
- following up with those who haven't sent a shipping confirmation to santa
- following up with those who have fallen off the face of the Earth

who wants to do what? when we get that figured out, I'll give access to the santa email and post the rules...

volunteers - hash out the responsibilities here, please...

I can't help out this year, but I have the spreadsheet from last year that I can send to whoever is. It might help a little.
Also, there website (elfster.com) that I've used a few times with other groups- its basically designed for online secret santas like this. Anyway, you can put all the names in and it'll "pick them out of a hat" for you so its easier and possible more random than fooling around with the spreadsheet (I had problems with the spreadsheet randomly assigning someone to buy for themself which was a pita to fix)
