I know you girls are sick of me asking about this dress.  ashamed  I asked awhile back about boots to wear with it, and I still haven't bought any.  Now I am thinking riding boots might work.  Anyway, could you girls just provide me with some ideas of how to winterize this dress?  I have tried to clear my mind of all my ideas because I really want some fresh ones.  Pics would be great if you have time:

Aren't these the NN knock off of those?  Lace-up boot
Do you think the fact that the boot is darker brown than the leather on the dress will be ok?

i think it would look too matchy if they were the same color as the leather on the dress, actually.

bloomie - I have the NN ones, and while I haven't worn them yet because it's been a freakishly warm October, I'm really looking forward to it. They look a lot better on than I anticipated

I ordered them and I also ordered some camel colored riding boots from overstock.com.  It is really warm here, too.  It is supposed to be 80 today.cry

as you know, I have that same dress. I wore my antique gold frye villagers with it the other day, and they looked great with the camel leather trim on the dress(but not too matchy)

they're also on sale for $135
style #2091291 available sizes: 7 7.5 8 8.5 9 10

I saw those on overstock and thought about wearing them with that dress.  I bet it looks great.  I ordered the NN knockoffs to wear with something else.  For some reason I am just really wanting some riding boots and if they look good with the dress I will feel more justified in ordering them.  I ordered these in whiskey:
Rocket Dog Hunter Women's Riding Boot
Do you think they would possibly look good with that dress?  If not, is overstock good about returns?
