I just got a couple of tickets to the Dallas event. I've never been before. Any suggestions? Any past experiences? I got goody bag tickets - are they decent? Any info is great. I'm really looking forward to it!

Farrah, Vanessa, and myself just went to the Chicago Shecky's a couple of weeks ago.  Honestly, I think we were all pretty disappointed.  We bought the goodie bag tix too, and while there were a few good things in there (Schick Intuition Razor, cute undies, hair ties) it was disappointing.  They had free mojitos and some other cocktails, but they were really teeny.  The vendors selling things left a lot to be desired too.  We didn't see anything good, and all of us left empty-handed.  I don't think I'd go back.  Hopefully the Dallas event is better. blankstare

I've been to the New York one and it was great (this was a few years ago). The goody bags had cool stuff in- books, cd's, hair and make-up products, etc. There were tons of vendors and demonstrations. I've never been to one in a city other than NYC, although I've been meaning to get to the Philly or DC one sometime. It just never works with my schedule.

I was a vendor at their very first Atlanta event. That was two years ago and I have no desire to participate in any of their events, either as a customer or a vendor. It was the same experience for a friend of mine (she was a vendor at the same event).

have heard raves about their NYC events, but other than that, it seems people have been very disappointed in other locations.
