Hey everyone, I just got a text message from Dizzy.  She hasn't been on the boards much but I just had to share her good fortune.  She graduated law school last May, moved to D.C., had an interview with the Senate yesterday and today she GOT THE JOB!!  Our Dizzy is gonna work for the United States Senate!!!

Let's all congratulate her so that when she has internet access she'll see this and know we're thinking of her!

Go Dizzy!!!!!!!

Aw - thanks! My first day was today and it was really great. The people I work with are awesome. I even got a good picture for my employee ID!

You know what's funny? I couldn't get one job interview in the state where I graduated law school, but I just moved to D.C. and got hired in the Senate so quickly my head is still kind of spinning. I couldn't be happier with the way things worked out. floating.gif

PS - They seriously called me Friday to tell me I had the job. Then said, "And we were hoping you could be here Monday..." I love this place. They don't waste any time...
