This is navy blue. FH and I are invited to a wedding on the 22nd.  Ceremony in a church, reception to follow at 5:30 at a country club.  For the church I should cover my shoulders, I think.  One shoe possibility is the Lucie kitten heel in gold from J. Crew (can't get the picture to paste):

I also have metallic lavendar sandals -- same as below, but this is not the right color:

(I am the same height as my fiance and try not to wear heels that make me significantly taller than he is.)

Do you like one shoe more than the other?  Any ideas on jewelry?  For a bag, I have a gold leather clutch and also a bright pink satin one, which I thought could be a nice contrast with the darkness of the dress.

I like the idea of gold sandals, and the pink clutch. I'm not a big fan of lavender and navy, but that's just me.

I think that dress is adorable and will look lovely on you! I hope you post some TS pics of it.


ETA: As much as I love jewelry, I don't think you need a lot with this dress. Pearl earrings (small dangles) might be nice, or a simple bangle bracelet. I love the adornment on the dress and think you should let that stand on its own.

Thanks, atlgirl! I don't wear a lot of jewelry usually and I like your idea of small pearl dangles.

I haven't posted anything in threadstyle yet but maybe this will be the time I start. :)

i prefer the j.crew sandals and would probably go with the gold clutch. does the belt come with the dress? it's really pretty

I would go with gold shoes and probably the pink clutch and I agree with atlgirl about the jewelry.  Pearl studs or simple dangles would be very pretty.
