To spend or not to spend

I am having trouble deciding whether to spend $328.00 on this bag (caramel color).  I've never spent more than $60.00 on a bag (it retailed for $110.00). 

I have some extra $$ to play around with, but I can't seem to pull the trigger.  I'm torn between buying many lower-priced items and a few more expensive things.  Please help.

personally, i think you could find something cuter for the price. but if you love it then go for it

ohhh, I'm having a similar predicament myself with the Frye Villagers.

Personally, I say maybe try to find something cheaper that has the same feel. The purse is okay enough, and non-trendy enough to last a while, but I feel like I've seen very similar things for much less. I bet you could get a pretty nice one for $100....but then again, this is coming from a girl who is so apathetic about bags that I feel like I'm wasting money buying a new one at Target every year or two

I totally agree -- I think you could find a comparable version for a much better price.

I like it and it's a nice classic bag so you really can't go wrong.  I don't think I'd pay that much for it myself though.  Here are some alternatives if you like the look of the bag but not the price.

But there's really no substitute for it if that's the one you really want.  You won't be able to stop thinking about it.  I'd give myself a few days to think about it though so you make sure that's what you really want.

Wow. Thanks! I'll keep looking. Maybe i could find a better bag that has been knocked down in price so that it is the same/similar level.

This bag is super safe for me--very practical.

Definintely keep looking.   That bag does not look like it is worth $300, looks like the $40 variety.

a good classic bag is always an investment. I personally however would keep looking, for that money I think you could find something more designer on sale.

I agree keep looking, and if you really like that style and are willing to spend the money maybe try looking for a nice Michael Kors bag? They have a similar style and I think are more classic. Same with Marc Jacobs or Marc by Marc Jacobs. My sister got this really pretty  Marc Jacobs tan leather frame bag at Off 5th outlet for 330$ I think? So if you have any Off fifths, or Nordstrom Racks check there!

This one is a Michael Kors bag. smile.gif

I know. It (the pic especially) does not really give off that MK vibe.

I'm def gonna keep looking because I know I can do better. Thanks again.
