What style/color shoes to wear???? *UPDATED w/PICS*

So I have this cute red/white polka dot knee-length faux wrap dress I brought a couple of weeks ago, and I'm slightly stumped as to what color/style of shoes to wear with it. I do NOT want to do the obvious colors (red or white), so to you fashionistas I come. I was thinking navy blue, or yellow, something. I need help.

Is it red with white polka dots or white with red?  I think classic black would be nice or maybe silver would be best.  Navy could work too.

I definetly tjink a metalic shoe like silver or gold would be good, but its hard to say without seeing the dress, (if the polka dots are big/small which is the background color, the material etc.) but I can see like a peep toe shoe or maybe something with an ankle strap?

If it is a true red or a blue based red, I would go with navy. If it is a more yellow red, then I think a very soft gold would be better.

P.S. it's red w/LARGE white polka dots......smile I also think it's a true red, bright red......confused
