which talks all about rich New York families and their nannies, I felt like I had just read a story about the family I worked for for over 3 years.  I am in the middle of Oklahoma and worked for a family just like these, but WORSE...

I was curious if any of you have been nannies or babysitters and had any great stories.  I could write my own book, but here are a few of my favorites...

- Dragging me along to a very formal wedding that I was not invited to, that kids were not invited to - they brought their 4 year old anyway.  Then once we get there, the mother doesn't want to look like she isn't a good mom so she does everything for the kid.  Basically, I just crashed a wedding!

- Insisting that we all fly to Dallas (a 3.5-4 hour drive) because the kid gets bored in the car, and then not paying me very well because they paid for my plane ticket and hotel!!  I set them straight the next time though!

- Having the mom ask me if i wouldn't mind splitting a sandwich with the kid to cut down on spending money...like half a sandwich will make up for the money they spend on babysitters, housekeepers, pooperscoopers, handymen, trainers, car cleaners, errand runners, and the zillions they spent on toys and crap.

I can't believe some of these mothers will treat nannies so bad when their children's care is in the hands of the nanny!

Ohhh Kari is only telling the "nice" stories...
Those people are NUTS!

 I want to hear the bad stories!!  Luckily the people I babysat for were great, but I loved the Nanny Diaries.  I can't wait to see the movie.

Ha Ha Ha.  I knew that Jahni was going to call me out!  Let's just say you can sum it all up with:

Her
    - lortab addiction
    - town slut (cause her and hubby haven't in years!)
    - involuntarily committed
    - hepatitis B
    - Department of Human Services investigation

Him
    - scat fetish (not kidding, i had to google it and i couldn't believe it)
    - closet homosexual OR asexual
    - secret cars, phones, and who knows what else - the question is why????

Jahni, what am i leaving out?  I swear I could write a book!

-dying the 5 year olds hair
-MAJOR sexual addiction
-Dragging you to a wedding/restraunt/party/CHURCH and pointing out every man she's slept with
-Not letting the kid walk in the sand barefoot because she may injure herself and require surgery
-Heating the swimming pool in the middle of summer..in OKLAHOMA!
- Sleeping with you and the kid in a seperate hotel room instead of staying with her husband
-Posting the pictures of her 'plastic surgery gone wrong' on myspace
- Spilling about her child protective services visit to your friends...15 minutes after meeting them!
Oh...this could go on and on and on...
