Hey,

I know this is off topic, but what are some good text book websites that sell their books for cheap (cheap-ish, well, "for a deal"), used (or even new) and good condition?

So far, I've looked on amazon, half.com, ebay, abebooks.

Any others?

half.com has been the best thus far for me.

I second half.com
I've tried some others but still half.com has the best prices.

I third half.com.

As long as you can read it, I say go for the cheapest one from the best possible seller.

If the book is really grody or something, just cover it with a brown paper bag like in high school.

I always just used Amazon....but you've already checked there

ETA: I'm not sure I agree with the "as long as you can read it" idea - for your purposes you only need to read it, but you'll get a lot more money when you sell it back if you can say it's in good condition. I've even made money on books by buying ones in pretty good condition.

I use allbookstores.com, its a price comparison site, and gives you a listing from the cheapest site including shipping to the most expensive for the specific book.
