I had a little hair-changing phase last year - I went from highlighted blonde to temporary auburn, then auburn again when that faded, then back to blonde within 4 months.  Now the highlighted bits around my face are breaking off and look horrible.  I keep trimming the dead ends and so my bangs keep getting shorter and shorter, I think I have baby bangs now.  

I was thinking that a while back Reese Witherspoon had long hair with bangs and I heard that it was a "headband" hair piece , and that she didn't have to cut her hair at all.  I'm wondering if I could get some and help my bangs blend in so I don't look 14.  I have googled just about every phrase I can think of and the best I can find is clip on bangs, which I worry would be more obvious than the "headband" one that should blend in.. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I read about them in a magazine and my friend (model) had them for a show. I'd like to try them too - I've seen some on ebay - but I'd like to try it 1st hadn before purchasing them as they are not that cheap. let us know if you get some! (Pics!)

Oooh this sounds cool!  I have curly hair and am always trying to keep my bangs striaght.  This would work great!  The only thing is headbands give me a headache.  Anyway, I am wondering if a wig store might have something like this.  There is one across the street from the Beverly center that I am going to check out.  I'll let you know if they have them.
