Sun Tea | Conventional Iced Tea

I am interested in making some iced tea (probably iced green tea). I assumed that I would make sun tea, but then I doubted my decision. Do you think that sun tea really does taste different/better; or do you think it is all psychological?

I dont think it tastes as good (I find it to be weak), plus they bacterial aspect of it grosses me out. (think about it- would you pour a glass of water, leave it out in the sun, and then drink it hours later?)

I actually don't think green tea would work very well as a sun tea. When I think of sun tea I think of mint or black teas. You can make regular tea and then ice it (there are certain steps though- more or less tea bags, you can find a recipe) or you can just pick up an ice tea maker for $20 at Target. If you're planning on lots of tea, the maker is the way to go. It's what I survive on in the summer.
