Water Weight

So I started BC a week ago today nd I've gained 4 pounds as of today.  I'm wondering how much of it is water weight and how to safely get rid of it?  Are diuretics safe?

post number 2 - the computer messed up my first one!
I wrote pretty much that
if you still eat and do the same, it can only be water weight.
reduce salt, heavy sauces, eat a lot of fruits and veggies, and if it gets unconfortable, ask your doctor for another kind of pill that may be better for you - there are so many nowadays!

also, putting your leg in very salty, cold water is very effective in "deflating" them. The ideal is walking on the beach with your ankles in the water. I have started BC a couple of months ago, and I find the "sea walking" extremely useful.
