I just broke up w/my long distance bf a couple weeks ago and was excited to get back on the scene (haven't been single for 5 years and I"m only 23).  So I went out to a bar with the intention of kissing someone, and ended up talking to this cute, nice boy and kissing him.  He said he wanted to take me out and got my number.  I didn't expect him to call.
Well he just called and asked me to go on a date with him on Tuesday!  And told me he was free later for drinks if I was out.  I haven't called back yet (i just got the voicemail), but i'm really excited!  I don't have any expectations and am just excited to go on a date!!  I don't think i've ever officially been asked out- its so nice! smile

yay- date is confirmed for Monday (i'm going out of town on tuesday).
And last night i met this other boy and we talked all night.  just talked, but it was a really good conversation and he's friends of a friend, so i'll see him around :)

well, my date was pretty creepy.  Not into it.  I guess i'd had more to drink than i thought when i met him!  I wasn't attracted to him at all, repulsed even.  He was very kind but sort of a weirdo.  Lets just say he's extremely right brained (he's an artist) and it has given him some weird ticks and mannerisms.
but its okay!  Its funny to go out there and have these experiences, good or bad.

on a side note, that boy I met sat night came out somewhere i'd be on sunday to hang out with me for a few more hours.  He apologized because he had a gf (of a few months- so i guess not SO serious) and couldn't do anything, but was extremely attracted to me and liked my company.  I am not pushing anything there- not gonna be that other woman- but i do like him and am still thinking of him.  At least i've seen him sober and he has quality friends that can vouch for him. So time will tell :)

I'm going away for a week though and i'm glad to get away, maybe meet a boy on vacation, and not have to deal with either of those two for a little.
