i am 26w4d and my shower is set for August 18 and my invitations are going out on July 20. i wanted to register at two different places. i was thinking i would do both places in 2 weeks. that would put me at 29 weeks and i will be 35 weeks at my shower. what do you think?

I think that is fine.  I know that as soon as I get an invite to a shower/wedding I immediately look for a registry.  I don't like getting leftovers wink

I started registering right after I found out the sex, I just did stuff online and then before the invites went out I went to the stores and fine tuned/added to them. It gave me time to really think about what I wanted and take something off if I changed my mind. Happy registering!

I don't see any reason why you can't register now. If the invitations aren't going out until the end of July, it doesn't much matter when you register because no one will know the registries exist until then, anyway. If you want to do it now, then do it now!
