Why isn't Alloy.com More Popular? My Faves Included.

I finally shopped on the website for the first time today to buy this dress:
  It is a knock off of a much more expensive dress (like saving a couple hundred here). 

Anyway, while perusing the site I found some gorgeous clothes:

From what I've heard the quality is usually really poor, the sizing runs small and the CS isn't the best. But let us know when you get that dress if that isn't the case cause you're right, they do have some stuff that looks cute.

I agree with FashionPrincess. I have been happy with some shoes but other than that not so much. I was thinking of ordering a dress from the catalog and actually spotted the same one in a store and was able to try it on... the fit was horrible and the fabric was thin and clingy. Maybe it would be a good idea for petite figures (since its juniors sizing). Good luck with your purchases, they look cute!

I, for one, have had nothing but horrible experiences with them.  There quality, at least the last time I ordered, was terrible - material is cheap and thin.  Also, their CS is terrible.  One time, I sent something back and they lost my package - I came to find out later it had been sitting in their warehouse for weeks and they wanted to charge me!  Another time, I ordered online, got a confirmation and they never shipped the order.  They claimed they never got it, even though I had a confirmation #!  I just had enough of arguing w/them.

I hope you have a much better experience.

Ok, I just called in and cancelled my order.  I don't feel like returning another package if I can avoid it.  I pay enough in return (and initial) shipping fees. 

Thanks for the heads up, ladies.  I won't bother with that store.

The only thing I have ever ordered from Alloy is these shoes a couple of weeks ago, but I was pleasantly surprised.  They are really pretty and do not look cheapo at all.

I havn't ordered much from them, but I've had good luck. it's the same crapshoot as ordering from Delias or F21, and I've never had a bad experience... 

I would order and at least judge for yourself.

I'll get a catalog from them maybe once or twice a year, and they DO have some pretty cute things, but I've never ordered from them.
