Do you think Patent leather shoes and bags will be less popular in the coming months?

I just can't get into it. It reminds me of my tap shoes when I was 6.

I'm hoping we wont see much of it soon.

I'm thinking it will be around, but at least we won't all be wearing CL Bruges knockoffs next fall. ;)

I still like patent, but in smallish doses and unexpected colors.

I think it will be around through next season at least.  I was just thinking this morning that I have 4 pairs of patent shoes, so I'm glad patent is still around.

I actually think patent is a timeless thing. I know it's been trendy lately, but in small doses, I think it adds a cute pop. I just don't think that even if patent isn't "in" next year, that I'll look at someone and think "OMG...I can't believe she's wearing patent shoes."

I agree with NC. I don't think patent will ever really be out, it's just been more popular. I don't have a lot of patent leather, like I didn't buy belts or a huge bag or anything, but I do have three pairs of patent shoes and I'll keep wearing them.

Completely agree.  I always like patent leather in small doses.

I do know what you mean about not getting into something tho, Jocey.  I've never been into metalics and a couple years ago I didn't even want to go shoe shopping because I was going to poke an eye out if I saw another metallic shoe.

I'm like most of you, I like patent leather in small doses. I have a few prs. of pat. lthr. shoes at home, but I didn't go overboard w/it. LOL
