DVF Renny wrap...Kitty?
Permalink Closed

I really love the DVF Renny wrap dress in the spring shadow print. I just found it on sale at bloomindales. How is the sizing? Im typically XS, 0. I dont want it to be clingy, but not very loose. Should size 0 work? I dont want to have to return it to get a different size. Thanks!!!!

It runs small, like all DVFs. In fact, for me, it ran smaller than other DVFs I've tried on. Definitely size up (especially if you have boobs).

I'm really not sure!! I am a B and have almost no boobs, I am normally a dress size 10, but I ordered the 12 because I know DVF runs small. it fits me perfectly.

It's stretchy, so you might just order your size..you wouldn't want it to be gaping in the chest area, ya know?

thats so funny, I almost bought this myself. I am worried about it being too short. I would be wearing it to work so I'm not sure if it would be inappropriate.

Any thoughts kitty? Where do you wear yours?

It's very short on me..but I'm 5'7. I wouldn't wear it to work..lol

I wear it going out and I've also worn it on the weekends out to lunch and stuff.

Im sorry! I dont mean to press you for all the answers. I just really love the dress and I dont want to go through the hassle of returning and then having to wait again for it to ship the correct size.

Hmmm...I guess Ill have to think it over. Ill do a search to see if there are other posts regarding DVF sizing.

Thank you!! smile

No, it's fine..I just don't want to tell you the wrong thing and have you order and be disappointed.

But DVF in general always runs small.

I have tried on this one, although I didn't end up buying it.

This is how it looks on me (5' 3", curvy. I'm normally a 6 in dresses but wear an 8 in DVF).

I took my usual DVF size 8. I actually just bought the dress in a different color because I prefer the shorter length...but now that I know this is on sale...wink

Lilykind, I have been thinking about buying the "Jessica" version of that dress (or at least I think it is called the Jessica).  Do you always take an 8 in DVF?  I am a size 6 too in dresses and I have been wondering what I would be in DVF because I heard they run small.

omg omg I think I might have to splurge! I'm 5 3 3/4 (the 3/4 counts!) so I think I could get away with it, especially with tights in the colder months. Thanks everyone :))))

I think you made the right call sizing up. I'm normally a 2 and I got this dress in a 4 because the 2 was too small. I small chested and the 4 fits fine, I just have to wear a cami under it when I wear it to work.

Kitty, what bag are you holding in that pic, I like the color!
