I am going back to get my Master's in Secondary (English) Education.  The program is geared toward people with a Bachelor's degree that are making a career change into teaching.

Awww shucks, thankswink!  I hope I am as great as Halleybird when I grow up, ha!!

If everything goes according to plan I will be student teaching Spring quarter in 2009.  I am going to be in school full time and working full time though, so we will see...I may leave my current job and waitress my last year so that I have less stress.  Seeing as how I am in Chicago there are many places I could waitress 3 shifts a week and make more money than I make now.  That option would also allow me to make some money while I am student teaching.
