Help me complete this outfit!

I'm looking for inspiration to complete this date outfit!  I'm visiting my boyfriend next week who just moved to Boston so I want to look cute to remind him of how much he misses me!  I know it's probably going to be in the 40s but I'm set on wearing a dress and no tights!

I bought this HM dress in both colors but I'm leaning towards wearing the cream one.



Since it will probably be cold maybe I'll wear this coat with it or a black one:




So I'm looking for some inspiration...what shoes, bag, jewelry should I go with?  Black peep-toes or maybe a bright pump?  Bangle bracelets, long necklace?  Please help I'm so bad with accessories!  Thanks!

I like the blue coat idea with the cream dress. If you don't wear the blue coat, I think blue pumps/peeptoes could be fun. I just think white/blue is a color combo that looks so polished but is rarely used

I have that dress and this is I plan on wearing it with a long chain and flats.  I think the KJL strawberry necklace (and the many knockoffs at forever 21 and target) would look cute with it too.

Thanks for the tips...I like the idea of doing burgandy flats or heels with it.  I have some great red shoes but that might be too bright!
