Tory Burch flats - I am conflicted

I love the TB flats - they are beautiful and I wear flats almost everyday. I would really love a pair. BUT I feel like everyone has them...and I like to be a little more original. What are your thoughts?

I think they come in so many different colors and patterns that you can still get them and not look like everyone else.

While I agree with Collette, their popularity and color pallette remind me of the Sam & Libby bow flats from the early 90's. I had them in about 6 different colors.

I would pass solely based on the fact I've seen three knockoffs already.  It's not that I mind sorta credible knockoffs by the likes of Steve Madden or so, but when the knockoff is $19.99 and they look like cheap plastic, that is when I draw the line.

I feel conflicted too, they are gorgeous but EVERYWHERE. My biggest issue is that the metal logo is HUGE, I mean you can see it a mile away and in the sun...well :)

The weather is warm and the Reva is the "it" shoe around here so it's already getting old to me no matter what the material. If only the logo was more discreet. Thanks for posting this b/c I couldn't decide either but I think I answered my own quandry. Oh yikes ....were you even talking about the Reva ?

Same - there are already about a billion knock-offs.

I guess it depends where you live, I havent seen anyone where them around here, our town is still stuck in the Juicy tracksuits phase

I say get them unless if every other girl in town has them.

I dunno, I think it depends on where you live.  I know where I live people pick up on trends like a year after they start and even then they only wear the trends that are EVERYWHERE like belts over everything and skinny jeans.  But if they are totally you and you love them, don't pass them up just because there are knockoffs.

I think I would lean towards passing. I think they are adorable -- but didn't think they were all that comfortable when I tried them on and since then it does seem like tons of people have started wearing them. But I don't think that they're so ubiquitous (at least where I live) that they have become like Uggs with a mini-skirt, for example.

I'd pass. Personally, I think there are a lot of cuter flats available right now.

I think they are a classic style but here in NYC everyone and their mother is wearing them. I also think they are overpriced IMO.

I really like them.  I haven't seen them in person, so I don't know how big the logo disk is - that would be my only concern.  If they come in bright green - I might need a pair toobiggrin

I've seen them IRL, and they are beautiful... I love the lime green.  But if you prefer to be original, you might want to look at other styles, since this is the hot flat of the season and they're going to be everywhere.

i'm in the same boat as you. while i love the fact that they come in great colors (lime green, burnt orange, navy etc), i probably won't be getting them because of the price/omnipresence.

ITA. I got mine in bright orange for a reason (who wears bright-ass orange? me!). They're so basic and they lend themselves to being styled in so many different ways. I also LOVE the fact that they have a rubber sole...they're 100x more comfy than my Chanel flats.

I know everyone, their mother, and their dog is probably wearing them in NYC, but I think it speaks to the practicality of the shoe more than anything.

I live in Florida and I've only seen a few people here and in Atlanta wearing them. But I bought them because I like them despite their trendiness and the knockoffs. I thought about getting a pair of knockoffs for a second but I like really Tory Burch's stuff so I decided to get the real thing. Its your call... I understand the appeal of a knockoffs, but I think the TBs have more appeal as the originals.
