I need help with anthro skirt

62417_frt?$main220x340$ I have been very drawn to this skirt for some time and it has dropped down to $34.95.  I usually wear a 6 in anthro skirts but the smallest they have is an 8 on the website.  The skirt is by Fei.  Does anyone know how Fei sizing runs?

i have this skirt in a 10. i normally wear an 8 or 10 in bottoms. it sits pretty low on my waist (basically almost at hips)

i think you have those j. crew sailor pants, and i have those in an 8, if that helps on sizing. i don't have any other anthro skirts to use for reference.

it's a REALLY cute skirt irl!

Thanks.  If I order it in an 8 and it turns out to be too large, do you think it can be altered? Also, what is the fabric like?

i think it can definitely be taken in at the waist! (since it is a fuller skirt, it probably wouldn't need altered elsewhere) if anything, you might only need to move the button over if it's just a tad big.

the fabric is a substantial cotton and it is lined. there is grosgrain at the waist and along the front where it buttons down.

here is an irl picture (i wore it for a christmas dinner)

I have that skirt too - it was on sale in stores awhile back for $9.99. Mine is a size 6...I'm normally a 6/8 in bottoms.

Thanks Kitty.  I emailed the anthro website to see if it is available in any of the stores in a 6.  I hope it is.

I have this skirt too and love it.  Like Erin said, it should be easy to take it in at the waist if it's too big in person.
