STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

Just wanted to give a review on the Forever21 peeptoe slingbacks that I found last week.  They are similar to the pic below, but they have a wicker/straw covered heel and platform.  I get lots of compliments on them but they are UNCOMFORTABLE!  I am usually able to walk in high heels.  I would say these are about 4 1/2" inches.  They hurt if standing for more than 20 minutes.  I wore them to a baby shower on Sunday and totally regretted it.  After walking a bit, they also pinched in the front where the peeptoe was. 

In the realm of shoes you get what you pay for.  These were about $20, so I didn't expect them to be very great.  Overall, they are cute looking and the nude is very versatile.  You just have to wear them on a day when you know you won't be standing/walking/going up stairs very much.  I also found them to be pretty true to size.  I am usually an 8, and I took an 8 in these.  Hope that helps!
