straw bag...only for the beach?

What do you ladies think about this bag? I was considering it to use for the beach as well as a summer bag to carry around my girls stuff say to the park etc. Would it look out of place to carry if I ran errands with it? I am just wondering if people would think it strange to use as a tote on a regular basis?

I think it's totally fine for the park or running to the grocery store, etc. Especially in really warm weather.

I think it's totally fine for regular (not just beach) use. Wicker/straw is very popular each spring/summer season.
