glimmer powder -TLC what not to wear
Permalink Closed

if you watch what not to wear - you know how carmandy uses the glimmer powder on eyes and checks...I am looking for a good glimmer powder for my cheeks. I use white on my eyes - but I find the white is a little too harsh for cheeks. I want something subtle...any ideas?

I recommend the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick. I know thats what she uses and I have it as well and love it.

i love becca shimmer pressed powders. they are very fine, soft shimmer and give the face more of a candlelight glow.

also check out mac beauty powders, bobbi brown shimmerbricks.

EDIT - totally forgot to mention my favorite thing.. Guerlain meteorites.  They give your face a "glow" without really being shimmery.  I love mythic.  They do limited edition ones around the holiday season too.

I like her too -- I think her make-up and style are great, but I have to say her hair is really bad!! It's so thin and fried looking. I want Nick to help her!!

Bare Escentuls makes a great highlighter color (actually an eyeshadow) called Queen Phyllis. It's gold based so it's not too harsh like white is...and it looks fantastic on tanned skin

I have a couple that I really like.  I have two different shimmer/glimmer products from bare escentuals....true and clear radiance.  I also really like a kit by Mally Beauty that I got on QVC, item number A3522.  The shimmer of the kit is great, very subtle.

I love Nars Orgasm blush--it's a beautiful color and it has just the right amount of shimmer to it to perk up my face.

For a little extra kick, I sometimes sweep Stila Kitten eyeshadow over the top of my cheekbones.

It's not a powder, but I still love Benefit's HighBeam (the pink one). It's very subtle and works especially well with those who are not trying to go super matte.  Otherwise, if I had to pick a powder, I'd probably go with something from CARGO.

I High Beam. I actually use it as an undereye concealer when I have slight bags. For powder, I agree with NCshopper... Nars Orgasm is wonderful. It has the perfect amount of shimmer.
