Need some opinions on LV...

I believe 25 and the classic brown is always the choice. I have seen it on elder ladies and it look awesome as good as it goes on women in our age. In other colors or styles, it just throws me off. JMO.

I think size is a matter of personal preference as well as proportion. I think 25 or 30 can work on most girls, but I know some petite girls feel overhwelmed by the 30. I'm 5' 3", wear a size 6, and own a 25 in the classic monogram print.

I also really like it in the white/blue or the brown damier. I don't care for the murakami, mostly because I think it's a very teenybopper color scheme.

I have the speedy 30 in the classic monogram and I love it. It's big, but not at all overwhelming. I'm 5'8" and a sz 8, and I think it's the perfect size. In fact, whenever I see the 25, I'm a little shocked at how small it seems compared to mine. I love the fact that the 30 is big enough that I can carry so much in it when I travel, but when I'm shopping I can throw my wallet in and it's the perfect slightly slouchy but light bag.

As far as color, I probabably wouldn't own any LV but the classic monogram. It's just timeless in my opinion. I know there are TONS of fakes, but I think it makes mine that much more special. And, yes I am so shallow that it gives me a thrill when people ask if it's real or not....and I'm even more shallow in that I carry my receipt from the LV boutique i my wallet...just in case someone doesn't believe me....i need help.

I just bought the Speedy 30 in the classic canvas and I love it! i'm 4'11 and was afraid the bag was going to look too big, but it's perfect. It's actually much smaller than I thought. I also asked the girls on ST for some advice and they overwhelmingly selected the LV 30-so go for it! I LUV mine!

Is it possible for you to try them on in person before purchasing? Like Lilykind said, I think size is a matter of personal preference.

When I got my 30 I was considering the 25. But since the 30 was only about $40 more, I decided to go for the bigger size. It also works well on my size frame.
