We've been working on getting the nursery ready and hubby just finished painting it this last weekend, so I thought it was time to post some pics of it.  I'm very proud of his paint job, he worked very hard at it and it turned out great!  And my friend painted this painting for me for upbove the crib, we were inspired by some we seen on PoshTots.
Here's the sample pillow of the bedding we went with (won't be ready for another 6 weeks):

Of course there's still lots to do, like accessories, etc.  I'm doing brown curtain panels and we're painting a design on the front of the armoire and drawer fronts of the furniture.  Anyway, just wanted to share what we've done so far

Wow, those stripes are hard to do -- but they turned out great!  Props to Mr. FP.  I love the color scheme you chose.

I love the combo of the striped walls and polka dot bedding - so cute!  Mr. FP is quite the painter - it looks awesome. 

p.s I love the name Xavier - I didn't know you guys had a name picked out (maybe I missed that thread )

Awww...FP, you guys did such a good job!  It looks fit for a prince!  The room definitely has your signature style, but with a boyish twist--hard to describe, but it's perfect.    Now we just need to see that cute little boy of yours!
