Ice cream is my weakness. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and sprinkles is like the best thing on earth. I also LOVE Graeter's ice cream. I'll never be able to move far from home because it's a regional brand and I might die without it.
brownies are a close second.
chocolate oatmeal no-bake cookies. Mmmm.

My warm weather favorites are key lime pie, fresh berry cobblers/pies, gelato, strawberry shortcake, and fruit trifles
In the winter....bread pudding, flourless chocolate cakes, Paula Deen's ooey gooey bars....really anything warm and gooey and really really bad for you
In no order: Rainbow Cookies (my favorite), Funfetti Cake (not very original, but really yummy), Creme Brulee, Bread Pudding, Watermelon Cake, Frozen Iced Chocolate Cake, Black and White Cookies, Haggan Daz Black Raspberry Chip Ice Cream
Cheesecake, cherry pie, anything my friend makes combining chocolate and coffee flavors - cakes, tortes, etc.
I would probably not say no to a plain old banana split with chocolate ice cream, chocolate syrup, and strawberry jam. That's straight outta my childhood!
I love it all too! As long as it's homemade; I don't like anything too processed or made with low-quality ingredients, it's not worth the calories for me then.

Where to begin? I absolutely adore profiteroles -- they're like everything I love about dessert rolled into one (chocolate, ice cream, puff pastry, whipped cream...). Lately I've been really into massive cupcakes, especially red velvet with cream cheese frosting and yellow with chocolate frosting. And creme brulee, thick Spanish hot chocolate, chocolate pudding, chocolate gelato, homemade chocolate cookies with peanut butter chips... (notice a trend here?)
For an unfancy dessert at home, I can't stop eating that Edy's American Idol Take the Cake flavor (yes, I eat American Idol ice cream... and it's really good!). Oh, and Ben and Jerry's Half Baked yogurt -- you can't even tell it's yogurt, I swear!
Really, the question should be, which desserts DON'T I like. My answer would be shorter :)
ahhh, love it all. SOME faves: vanilla cupcake/vanilla frosting (i like the ones from this place in chelsea markets- their pastries are half off from 6-8 on weekdays) key lime pie ice cream, and any variation of sundae/a la mode cobblers/apple pie vanilla frozen yogurt w/rainbow sprinkles sugar cookies maple/peanut butter fudge those white chocolate fakey bunny rabit lollipops at easter most candies and fruit filled truffles whipped cream layered w/nilla wafers and fruit blondies (love the one at applebees w/the maple butter and ice cream- where can you buy blondie mix???)
i guess i'm not a huge chocolate fan (though i love things like snickers and chocolate chip cookies) and i hate cheesecake.
Does Pinkberry count? Pinkberry is my drug. I could probably exist on Pinkberry alone.
In other less LA-hyped desserts...
* Cupcakes w/lots of frosting (Magnolia in NY or Sprinkles and Joan's on Third in LA) * Chocolate Chip Cookies warm from the oven (or from Diddy Reese in LA) * Apple and Pecan pie a la mode * Bread Pudding with rasins * Brownies with walnuts * Ben and Jerry's ice cream and frozen yogurt * Root beer floats
In all honesty, I love pretty much anything that could be classified as dessert. However, I can't eat most supermarket desserts or Krispy Kremes anymore because I taste all the sugar.
