OK...here it goes. I have been wanting these Jessica Simpson "Amanda" slingbacks in red: Well, a couple of weeks ago they were on sale for 1/2 price at Parisian plus I got another 10% off for taking out a CC, and I got another 20% off for it being education week. Anyway, the lady helping me was very nice. They did not have my size and she suggested I get an 8.5 because she said the strap on the back was kind of loose in general on this JS shoe style. I told her I thought I needed a 9 in them, but I agreed and got the 8.5. Well, when they got here they were too small. I carried them back and the lady that waited on me even refunded my shipping because it was their error in sizing. She found a 9 in another Parisian store and in the process of the conversation mentioned that the reason it was taking so long on the phone was because the guy was having to hunt the mate to the shoe on the floor (it was a floor model). Well, a flag went up in my mind, but I ignored it. They came today, and one of the shoes is damaged. The patent leather is spotty around the toe and it just looks worn. I immediately called Parisian and told them and they said they would refund my money. However, I live an hour away from the store so I can't get there until this weekend. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not mad at Parisian--I am just frustrated my the whole situation. Anyway, I feel better--thanks for listening

I hate it when stuff like that happens. I have always been happy with Parisian's CS. I just hope that after they switch over to Belk later this year that they continue to be as good.
