Looks like a lot of us are turning the big 3-0 this year! My big day's coming in a few weeks and I was thinking of buying myself something nice :) something nice meaning a bag and a pair of peep-toe mary jane louboutins (more on the bag later :)
I want to give myself a token happy gift, for making it to 30 all on my own, living far from family, working my butt off to hopefully get further in my career. But I digress...

I love the platform ones. I saw them irl Friday and fell in love. However, I haven't tried them on, so not sure if I could walk in them very well (disclaimer, I can walk in very high shoes, and have been known to withstand uncomfortable heels for the sake of beauty).



I was also looking at the non-platform ones in beige or green:





The green ones are so pretty for spring/summer, but the black ones are so hot, and the camel ones I'd probably wear quite a bit. I want all of them, help me choose!

I want you to have them all too, but I voted for the black ones because they are smokin' hot! Second to those are the green, which are adorable. Really, you can't go wrong.

i agree that you can't go wrong. my preference is the beige pair, then green, then black. nude shoes seem really hot for spring and totally lengthen the leg.

I'm torn between the beige and the green, the green is so fun but the beige is so sophisticated.  I don't think you can go wrong with either.  I'm afraid that the black look like borderline hooker shoes.

I love both the green and the camel. And the red sole looks sooo good on the camel ones! The black ones look maybe a bit too aggressive for my taste.

Happy early birthday!  I love them all but I vote for the beige.  I would chose the green but I think the beige are more classic and for some reason seem like the most appropriate "birthday gift to self" to me.

IMO the platform on the black ones is too cluncky and makes the shoes look a little unbalanced irl. I love thr green, but the beige are also really hot and would be more practical.

green or camel. I think the black ones have too much going on, with the platform AND the peep-toe AND the mary jane strap AND the patent. The combination of all of those elements makes them look like dominatrix shoes to me.

I thought about this too--the description of such a shoe sounds like a hideous trend show...but actually looking at the shoe (via the photo, I have not seen them IRL) makes me love them.

I voted for the camel. They are so beautiful and you do not have anything like them in your wardrobe. I also think that you could get an insane amount of use out of them. Lastly, you have plenty of pairs of beautiful black shoes. Get the camel chick!!
