another stupid myspace question

Does anyone have one of those trackers on their profile where it shows you who's looking at your page? If so, does it work? I don't have one and I don't really want one, but I was checking up on someone else's page (for legitimate reasons, I promise!) and I want to know if those stupid trackers work, just in case they have one.

I have a map on mine that shows where someone is located that looked at my page. It works...someone from Puerto Rico tried to look at it today lol.

Right, but does it actually show the user or just their location? I actually think that it's against privacy laws to show a user's details (pic, etc) unless they are also signed up for the tracker program. And I think it has to be the same tracker program (meaning, someone with trakzor, or whatever it is can only view the details of someone else who has trakzor. Others should show up as anonymous users. At least that's what I thought, anyway.

mine doesn't show the user or their info....it just shows the city and state the user is in. I just recently joined the myspace world so although I've seen other trackers...I'm not familiar on how any of them work.

Okay, paranoia has passed. I did some research and I answered my own question. Since I don't have a tracker, the only thing that could really be tracked (if it could be tracked at all) is my location, which isn't a big deal.

my friend told me he gets an email every day of the user names of people that go to his myspace.  it has made me paranoid- does anyone else have something like this?  I don't go to some peoples pages as often as i'd like for fear of looking like a creep.

I don't know what program my sister had but it's since quit working.  She knew user names of people that viewed her page daily.  She knew I had looked at her page 3 times that day and named a few others that had been to her page too.  I was super paranoid after that.
