-I've been sick for months but I'm finally starting to get out of it. I take tons of supplements and meds right now, and spending more money on oraganic foods in the past couple months (I'm hoping that every little bit will help, right?) but I'm okay with that for a while. I can deal with that. I can actually go to class most of the time now - yippee!

-I'm going home this weekend. I've barely talked to my family since classes started because I've been so swamped. I'm going to be able to see my boyfriend, my family, and some friends. Plus, my only class on Monday is cancelled, so I get a long weekend!

-I finally made an appointment to get my hair cut on Monday. I can't wait. I always feel so refreshed because I go so long between appointments

-my landlord has actually had the heat on the past couple weeks. No more walking around my apartment in my winter coat!

-this is totally nerdy, but I should be gettin my new etsy necklaces and a shirt I bought off of ebay any day now. I can't wait, I ran to the mailbox today to see if they were there. They weren't...but maybe they will be tomorrow!

*We should (fingers-crossed) have the preliminary final inspection done on our house by the end of this week. I know- how can it be preliminary and final? The final-final should be done by the middle of next week.

*We are getting a new bed delivered on next Friday. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I hate our current bed w/ a firey passion

*Mr. just had his 15 month check-up and he is doing fantastic.

On not supposed to be focusing on the negative so I will participate in this thread even though I didn't do the other one, I would have gone on forever anyways.

* I'm reconnecting/spending time with a lot of my friends and family.
* I have time off to take care of myself and focus on my kids
* I'm doing things I've always wanted to do like snowboarding (sooooo fun!)
* I've had tons of time to spend on Stylethread

* I acually bought clothes for myself this past week.
* I've lost weight.

*i'm going to have more time again now that the show is over, and be able to catch up on sleep!
*hopefully i'll be booking a vacation sometime soon, probably to see the boy
*my roommate DOES have mono, but i feel fine
*i've met some great people through work
*my roomie and i just spent 1.5 hours watching the hills, followed by the real world, followed by maui fever (which i surprisingly enjoyed!!) and loved every minute of it
*i'm going to be cleaning my room soon! yay! I've gotten rid of some things and its already made a huge difference
*i don't want/need a whole lot right now (possession wise) and its a really freeing feeling.
*i am about to take a shower with my Lush flying fox shower gel, shiseido face washes, fresh soda shampoo, etc, and i'm so excited

*I've lost about 10 pounds since the beginning of January. 4 more pounds and i'll be where I was the day i found out I was pregnant!

*I start a great new job on Monday and I'm really excited.

*My daughter starts her infant "Water Squirts" swim class next week and I can't wait. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and a great thing for us to all do together.

*I've been keeping my house fairly clean and not letting too much pile up at once. A big accomplishment for me because i'm one to always put stuff off until the weekend and then feel overwhelmed because I have so much to do.

I like this one.

* I just got a decent raise and a promotion. After 3 years of barely scraping by and excuse after excuse by my old boss as to why I couldn't have a raise, my new, temporary boss upped my salary and gave me a promotion. Sweet!

* Because I have more money to play with each month, I'm completely loving shopping. I'm still a cheap bastard, but it's so much fun to look around now and know I can get something if I want it!

* I'm getting a nice tax refund, which I will put towards savings and my trip to San Fran in May.

* My skin is not as dry as before. Still dry but not as dry.

* I bought pants and they're still the same size as they were before I stopped wearing pants. (Seems silly but it's huge for me.)

* If I absolutely had to buy new tires (or something dastardly like that), I could. I'm not making bank by any means but I've been living on so little for so long that it's like a huge load off my shoulders.

* My house is clean and has been clean downstairs for awhile now. It's very exciting because I'm a huge mess maker. (Upstairs is my bedroom so that doesn't count.)

Although I'm getting a smaller bonus than expected, its way better than nothing at and even better, we now how our closing costs cash for our house!!
I got the usual cost of living raise...again better than nothing!
We're moving to my MIL's house while she's away, which means we'll have more cash to save for our move to AZ this summer!
We rented a storage unit at this state of the art facility and DH is so stoaked about the technology that he's been moving stuff everyday this week. Which means I have not had to lift a finger!
DD is talking more and more everyday and she just makes my day everytime she learns a new phrase. This morning she said, "Mami, you smell very good" instead of "hmm smell good"
I've bought a lot of stuff this past week, but all were great deals.
I've made my car fuel last a lot longer, which makes me happy I dont have to pump and extra time during the week...and I save and extra $30-$50.
Its Thursday and I still have $ in my wallet.

I got a job!!! And the pay is decent. More than my roomates make at least, which tells me I can definitley make it.

Now I can do cute stuff to my depressing cave of a room. And buy something to put my clothes in. I've had them in boxes and suitcases for the past month.

I am finally at a point in my life where I don't feel so fragile that I'll fall apart if something goes wrong. I guess it's the prospect of having a job and being able to take care of myself, but I just feel very confident and proud of myself.

Yay for everyone!

As for me:

I'm loving my new job. I finally feel appreciated and it's just such a relief not to dread going to work every day.

Because of the new job, I'm happy when I come home from work, as opposed to being in a foul mood for the rest of the day. For the first time in awhile I'm feeling very content.

I'm making a bit more money now (not a ton, but every little bit helps) and I'm finding it rather nice to be able to have a bit more breathing room each month.

There's really not much I want right now. I finally feel like I'm at a place where I have everything I need and I just don't need to buy anything right now (except new tires for me and DH). It's a nice feeling to have to not be itching to spend money.

It's finally warming up here and I'm so excited! I haaaaaaaate coldish weather and I can't wait for spring.

I'm going home this weekend and I'm really excited to see my family. And shop in a REAL mall!

I love my new job. It's soooo easy, it's extra spending money in my pocket every week, and I do NOTHING which means I have tons of time to study and do my homework and get paid for it

Plus I really like the people I work with.

My roommate just said on the phone that she won't be here for the weekends for at least a month. Sweet! No more dealing with her overall crappiness.

I have an awesome new apartment, and it is mine all mine!
My car insurance costs were cut in half when I moved.
I just got a $2000 tax refund.
My company paid all of my moving expenses.
I love my new job.
I just got a new 42 inch plasma TV.

I guess things are going well, besides the boyfriend thing.

* My baby is completely healthy
* I've been off work for 3 weeks and still have more time before I have to go back
* I had enough time saved up so I could still be paid during my time off
* My wonderful sister showed up at my door with a crib and baby monitor (we were using a bassinet but didn't have a crib yet)
* My dad is retired now and volunteered to watch the baby for free until I can get him into a good daycare that I'm on a waiting list for
* I'm saving gas $ since I haven't had to go to work and it's been too cold to get out except for an occasional must do errand.
* My girl scout cookies came in and I ordered sugar free

This is a great one!

-I just got back from the best vacation of my life. I got a nice tan and I feel great!
-I really like my job and it is completely stress free
-When I decided to break down and buy a new coat due to the weather in Chicago my BF announced that he would be buying it for me because I do not have a lot of extra money right now. Great guy, huh?
-To go off of that one he also decided that he is going to pay for the new battery I need in my car

-I am in school right now so my student loans are in deferrment, yahoo

-Not to be an ass, but I am hands down the most intelligent person in my classes and it feels fantastic
