Ok girls I could use some help! I have never owned a pair of louboutins and I think its about time! I want to get a classic pair that I can wear forever and that isnt to tall.
Can anyone suggest a style, the best place to buy them and do Louboutins run TTS?
I think for your first pair get something more... fabulous. Something that's more fun and that you don't wear often. The first pair I bought were black, low heel, pointy, classic, interesting detailing with the straps, and I have to admit I don't enjoy them nearly as much as the blue suede round toe pumps I bought later. For a shoe like this, get something special -- you'll enjoy it more than something classic and neutral. JMO

I agree with D, you don't need to get a 5 inch heel but I would definately get something a bit more special. Or at least with a bit more heel or a full on flat Examples similar to what you posted but more heel or go with a classic black pump. My first pair were a 3 inch peep toe black pump and I've worn them into the ground. edited to answer your questions I would suggest trying them on in person. I used to always run TTS in Louboutin, a set 38.5, lately his sizes have been varying so I've gone up or down 1/2 a size. I've found that Saks, Neiman Marcus and Barney's has the best selection in Chicago. Not sure if you have these stores near you or not.

Alliegurl great choice if that's what you get! Mine ran TTS and a really comfortable. The color makes them so versatile and they make your legs look super long since they match your skin tone.
