Do any of you guys own some? How do you guys like them? And also, how do you wear them? Like with skirts, khakis, jeans...etc...
Do you all think getting the patent kind would be worth it, like would they stay in style for many MANY years, or should I just get the regular felt/oiled blaCK ones?
(I am in high school, but need other shoes besides tennis shoes and cheap American Eagle "Birkenstocks")
I my Danskos! I've worn them nearly everyday for over 5 years and then still look nearly new. I got the black oiled leather (which cleans up nicely with Method leather wipes), but I don't think you need to worry about a particular color or finish going in or out of style. People who like them will continue to, people who don't will continue as well.
I mean, not everyone has the need or desire to wear heels every day. Danskos are so comfy and perfect for casual wear - much better than running shoes or, heaven forbid, Crocs !
There are some cute one's out now, and not just clogs either!
I'd be careful about some of their other shoe/sandal styles though - many are considerably chunkier than the clogs and decidedly NOT cute IMO!

I love, love, love my Dansko's. Some days I think they're ugly, some days I consider them utilitarian chic! I was having pain in the ball of my foot from wearing shoes with no support and these totally cleared that up. Now I wear them a few days a week, either to work with dress pants (if I'm not really dressing up) or on weekends with jeans. I have the plain black ones because I wanted them to be as non-descript as possible but there are probably some cuter styles out there (as Elle posted). For me their appearance is outweighed by how comfy they are. I figure that a couple of days a week in Dansko's makes it worth it to be able to wear pointy toes and/or heels when I want to.

Free shipping, and if you order before the Super Bowl (tomorrow) and enter anythin about the Super Bowl or which team you're rooting for in the checkout comments, you get an additional $10 off! IMO they also have the biggest selection I've seen.
If you've never tried them on before though, I'd try to get fitted before you order. The Walking Company, Nordstrom, and The Shoe Mill are places I've seen them in-store.
