Was I the only one who thought that tonight's episode of The O.C. was terrible? I hated the flashbacks - they were so cheesy! The only part I liked was at the end with Seth and Summer. I was actually bored during this episode. That rarely happens with me and the O.C.! I hope the last three episodes are better.

I thought this episode was weird. They just sprung the relationship between Julie and Frank. It just felt so weird since we didn't see the relationship bloom and then poof they are in love? Then I also thought it was really weird how they didn't really explain why Kirsten and Jimmy broke up rather than she wanted to go to Berkeley and was preggers? Then my last weird thing was the guy just barging into Summer's house to offer her a job? I want the show to go out with a bang and I love the whole Taylor and Ryan storyline and Summer and Seth still, but the rest is just blah.

Oh one more thing, didn't Julie come from a different area and meet Jimmy in college, but when Kirsten was looking at old pictures there was one of her a Julie in HS?

Ya she came from an area like Ryan did.  I remember her saying something about it when she lived in the trailer house.  Also when she first met Ryan and told him why she didn't like him Julie said something about them coming from similar places.

Nope, it was a fresh episode.

I just think the episodes keep getting weirder and weirder. However, I always find myself excited to see next weeks show!

It was a weird episode. Yeah, Julie did come from an arae similar to Chino. This episode was disappointing, I too want the show to go out with a bang, so hopefully the next 3 eps won't disappoint. On a bright note, next week's episode looks better.

ugh i have officially decided i HATE this season.  I think its so weird and hokey and boring.  I can barely sit through one episode.  Seth bores me to tears now (i used to think he was so funny!).  It just seems like its going in circles and no one interests me anymore.

This episode was so disappointing. I think it touched on some things they used to do so well - like Kirsten's relationship with Jimmy Cooper - and I'm glad they FINALLY addressed the fact that Kirsten had an abortion (wasn't that just alluded to when Theresa was pregnant and then never mentioned again?) but I thought the episode was weird and hokey too. And I really hate the whole "Frank is a changed man" thing. I guess I also always complained when they were constantly coming up with new villains but one minute Ryan's like "he's a wife-beater" and the next he's involved in a dorky scheme to set his dad up with Juju?

Oh Chic, for whatever reason I thought the fact that Kirsten broke up with Jimmy rather than telling him she was pregnant made sense. Maybe she had already made her decision and didn't want him getting upset or changing her mind but also couldn't face being in a relationship with him and keeping that a secret?

I liked this episode. I wasn't nuts about the competition between Ryan and Kaitlin, but other than that I thought it was cute. I Young Sandy Cohen and I love that Summer is following her dreams instead of just getting married.
