no, those are listed as other options - I think it's like attaching a video to your video - the info on youtube on it is vague:
Allow Comments: Yes, with Approval: Allow comments to be added to this video after you have approved them. Yes, Automatic: Allow comments to be added to this video immediately. No: Don't allow comments to be added to this video. Allow Video Responses: Yes, with Approval: Allow video responses to be added to this video after you have approved them. Yes, Automatic: Allow video responses to be added to this video immediately. No: Don't allow video responses to be added to this video. Allow Ratings: Yes: Allow people to rate your video. No: Don't allow people to rate your video. If you disable ratings, this video will no longer be eligible to appear on the list of "Top Rated" videos.Allow External Sites to Embed This Video: Enabled: External sites may embed and play this video. Disabled: External sites may NOT embed and play this video.

To respond to a video, click the "Post a Video Response" link below the video player. You will then be given three options for choosing your response video: Record a Video, Choose a Video, and Upload a Video.
Record a Video
YouTube will automatically attempt to detect your computer's settings if you choose to respond via QuickCapture. Click the "Allow" button in the window that pops up so that YouTube can access your camera and microphone. Before you can begin recording your webcam response, be sure to enter information into all the fields on the left hand side of the screen.
Choose a Video
The dropdown here allows you to respond with any video you’ve already posted. One thing to keep in mind—your video can only be used as a response once. If you've used a video as a response in the past and want to use it for a new response, it will no longer be listed as the earlier response.
Upload a Video
This works pretty similarly to the normal upload process. Click the "Upload a Video" link. Enter all of your video's information, then click either "Go upload a file" to upload a file, or "Use QuickCapture" if you decide to use your webcam after all.
So I guess you can respond to a video with another video...?
On some videos I've watched, people attach similar videos to it via a comment. So it ends up functioning sort of like the 'If you liked this, you might also like this!' feature you get on lots of shoe/clothing sites.

hmmm... well, this is for a client, and it's surgery footage (yum). I don't want to allow comments (12 yr. olds posting "ewww") and lord knows what kind of video someone might attach to it.
I'm supposed to make a list of pros and cons as to whether we should allow others to attach/respond with videos...
Pros - like minded surgery aficionados can post their videos to enhance the viewer experience (what's in it for my client?)
Cons - someone could attach an inappropriate video, and tarnish my client's reputation by association - someone could attract the viewer to my client's competition
any other pros and cons?

yeah, I was talking to someone else and they said the same thing. what I'm thinking is allowing it on a trial basis - I can always shut it off later...
