i did a search for these products and didn't find too much.
i bought their microderm jar, peptide cream, crease release and some other line release thing that was free last week.
mind you, i've been using renova every 2-3 days at night to help with my wrinkles. my skin was extremely dry. so i thought it would be a good idea to get something to exfoliate. so i went to Nordies where I got talked into the above products.
when i went home that night, i used the microderm and it seemed a bit too acidic for my skin. however, it did remove all the dead skin and leave my skin feeling super soft.
i then used the peptide cream and crease release cream. the peptide cream also seemed a bit acidic too. but, the next morning, my skin looked somewhat back to its old self.
the thing is, i feel like these products are a bit too acidic for my skin. even though they helped with my current issue, i am not going to have the issue forever b/c after a while, my skin is going to become used to the renova.
so.. i spent $115 on the above products. i'm wondering if i should keep them or take them back. the girl told me if i was in any way shape or form not liking them, to bring them back.
I just went to a Dr. Brandt event at my local Nordies and I was really impressed with their line. I have very sensitive skin and the mask was a little too harsh for me. But everything else was really great. My skin felt like it does after a facial for the next couple of days. I just bought the moisturizer with spf 30 (colorless), so I didn't shell out the bucks like you did. I will say that the microderm abrasion kit seemed like a really good deal, but it would have been much too much for my skin though. If it's too much for yours and you won't use it, take it back definitely.
did anyone else with normal skin find this line to be too acidic?
i just wonder if i keep it until my skin normalizes again if i would like it. i really liked the way my skin felt after i used it. i just didn't care for the acidity of the product while i was using it.
I really like the line alot. I have very oily skin and it has seemed to have cut down on that for me. It is a bit harsh on my skin so I usually use it sparingly.
Maybe give it another week , then deciede to keep it or take it back.
