hmm it's hard to see, but the top is actually a cross between royal blue and navy. (i know a lot of people wear black with blue, and i do for lighter blue...but i don't know if i can rock it with this top)

My first thought was to pair with creme slacks - or if you have a beige (leaning toward the gold tones) pants. I think that would make the colors pop even more! On my screen it's looking a little like teal w/gold.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Wide leg creme trousers would be lovely.

I have it and I love it! It is so pretty on you. It has been my go-to top for holiday parties this year (I don't mind if people have seen me in it before). I've liked it with cream trousers and medium grey trousers that have a slight brownish cast. I've worn it with whiskey brown shoes - though I think it would look great with red shoes too. I think it would also look nice with a khaki/light brown/taupe colored trumpet type skirt.

I should add that I cut the little ball details off because they bothered me - but I don't think that changes what you can wear the shirt with!

besides the other ideas mentioned, which I really like, it would look really pretty with a camel-colored pencil skirt and some peep-toe heels! Very pretty top.

thanks for all the ideas! i really want to find a pair of mid-weight cream pants for another top, too, so maybe that would work.

kittenheels - i'm glad to hear you like and wear the top a lot. i am hoping to get decent use out of it in the spring.
